New Delhi, India | October 27, 2026:
ObserveNow Media today launched CISONow at the CIO Retreat 2026. The platform is dedicated to Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and enterprise security leaders navigating the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, enterprise risk and business transformation.
CISONow goes beyond conventional cybersecurity coverage, bringing together industry news, expert perspectives, interviews and practitioner-led discussions. Its editorial focus includes AI security and governance, cyber resilience, regulatory developments, data strategy, enterprise risk and the evolving relationship between cybersecurity and business leadership.
The launch marks ObserveNow Media’s expansion into cybersecurity as autonomous AI agents begin to reshape enterprise operations. As organisations adopt AI systems that take action rather than simply generate responses, security leaders must decide how these technologies are deployed, governed and secured.
Taniya Tikoo, editor-in-chief and co-founder of ObserveNow Media, described the launch as a significant step in the company’s growth and its commitment to the cybersecurity community.
“With the launch of CISONow, ObserveNow takes a significant leap into the cybersecurity space, marking the beginning of a new era for us. Our vision is to build a platform that brings together CISOs, industry leaders and key stakeholders to deliberate on the challenges and opportunities shaping cybersecurity, and drive decisions that strengthen the future of the industry across India and APAC.
“With Ms. Geetha Nandikotkur joining us on this mission, we are confident that CISONow will become a trusted platform where leading voices come together to exchange ideas, shape strategies and influence the future of cybersecurity,” Tikkoo said.
Geetha Nandikotkur, senior vice president, editorial and conferences (APAC), ObserveNow Media, sees the rise of autonomous AI agents as a defining moment for the CISO role.
“Every era of security has had its defining shift. Firewalls gave us the perimeter. Cloud dissolved it. Now, autonomous AI agents operate within our environments at machine speed,” Nandikotkur said.
She pointed to the dual meaning of “agent” in today’s technology landscape: the autonomous AI systems acting inside enterprise environments, and the security leaders who decide how their organisations adopt them.
“The first agent is AI, which doesn’t just answer questions but takes action. The second is you, the security leader who decides how your organisation adopts it. The first is arriving regardless. The second is a choice,” she said.
The CISO role has evolved from protecting network perimeters to operating at the intersection of technology, risk, regulation and the boardroom. The rise of agentic AI adds urgency to that shift, making governance, accountability and business alignment central to security strategy.
Building a Community for Security Leaders
CISONow is being developed as a peer community where CISOs can exchange practical insights, share experiences and discuss approaches to emerging challenges. Through editorial coverage and conversations with practitioners and technology executives, the platform will connect industry developments with the decisions security leaders make every day.
“CISONow is more than a website. It is a peer community for CISOs who want to lead through change, not just survive it,” Nandikotkur said. “We’ll share practical insights, honest experiences and fresh thinking on the issues that matter most to CISOs today, in real time.”
The platform will also examine how leaders can balance innovation with risk management, strengthen organisational resilience and keep security integral to business transformation.
Nandikotkur called on security leaders to join the conversation as AI adoption accelerates. “The agents are coming, and the question is who will shape how they’re used. Be the change,” she said.
